You can use this stuff to kill any germ almost (be sure you dilute it first, however), plus it whitens your clothes better than anything. I've tried all the store labels and other knock offs but they just do not work as well. Great, great product, been using it forever, my mother and grandmothers as well. Highly, highly recommend! You can buy powdered calcium hypochlorite (swimming pool cleaner) and it will last forever. Don't accidentally get sodium hypochlorite. Also, make sure there aren't other active ingredients. Buy extra to give to friends and neighbors in a disaster situation. Search online for directions on how to create a solution with the calcium product, and then use small amounts of that to purify water. |
