I have used gojo, orange power lava soap and so many other hand cleaners for most of my life there great for short term use but when the season changes and it,s dry weather my hands would chap crack and never come clean. (Misc.) I bought a smaller quantity of this same cleaner available at Home Depot in a pump bottle. Smells great. Contains plenty of solvent that I found to be very effective at cutting through brake fluid, EP oils and road grime. Has enough pumice to help carry off dirt, but not so much that it clogs its own pump like some other products often do. (Health and Beauty) This is a great product. I started using this at the Doctor's office since they have it set out by the computer's to avoid transitting germs. It is one of the best antibacterial's that I've used. Due to the emollients it also keeps your hands soft and not dried out like other antibacterial products. Will buy it again and again. (Health and Beauty) A family member was in the ICU after openheart surgery several years ago, and that was the first time I ever saw this stuff. To get in to see our loved-one, we were required to clean our hands with either a sink & soap or this alcohol foam from a dispenser on the wall. I hate cosmeticky-smelling stuff with lingering perfumes, and I already knew that the local hospitals use a particular handsoap that really repulses me (made by the same company that makes this product, it turns out). So I tried the alcohol foam and was very pleasantly surprised. That's all it smells like: rubbing alcohol. Being a foam makes it more occlusive -- you can spread it over the hand's surface easily and before it can evaporate. They put something extra (also smell-free) in the "Alcare Plus" to keep it from drying out your skin, which repeated use of isopropyl alcohol would do, of course. Have used this product for about thirty years and have been extremely pleased with the results. It has cleaned some of the grimiest hand conditons imaginable. Just rub it in thoroughly and rinse. And, that's it. Unless you've got dried paint or epoxy on your hands, this will be an efficient cleanup.
